Experience the magic of winter as you glide across the frozen Lake Suorajärvi, pulled by your own team of eager huskies. This private 5 km ride is organized only for your own family or group.
This ride is perfect for first-timers and families with children and it is suitable for guests aged 5 and up. Our kennel is located only a 20-minute drive from Ruka.
Available during the winter season: 15 Dec 2026 – 31 Mar 2027.
The season may start earlier or end later depending on snow conditions.
Price is per group, not per person.

Please wear warm winter clothing suitable for outdoor conditions.
As the ride takes place in open air, it can feel colder while sitting or driving the sled, especially with wind and low temperatures. Extra layers, insulated shoes, gloves, and warm accessories are highly recommended.

Weight Recommendation:
The recommended maximum weight for one guest on the sled is 110 kg.
